I work as a Computer Support Engineer in central England.
During my work I have collected many tips - which are now on this site.
They are all “tried and tested” - but I obviously cannot guarantee that any of these tips will work in your particular situation.
Every tip results from at least one genuine enquiry from a client. Some of them were petty, others were taxing. But all of them were from people who were sufficiently concerned to ask me.
So here they are - I hope they help.

Note: All tips are for Windows XP unless stated otherwise.
References to left and right clicking assume a normal right handed mouse - users of left handed mice should obviously transpose the instructions!
